    hed wheels - Jet 5, jet 4

    Searched and didn't find anything....

Anyone with firsthand experience with either of these? The Jet 4 FR sure looks like a nice wheel, but the 5 saves a few $$....I know there is a slight weight difference, but the 5's don't seem so bad either.

Wondering the same thing, looks like Jet 4 is 40 g lighter in weight and $350 dollars more. Most of the weight difference is in the front wheel, does not make any sense to me, Wondering if the published specs are wrong. Hubs are a little different, but I would have expected the rim depth to have made a bigger difference in the weight of the set. All things considered, not sure why I would choose Jet 4 over the 5

    Found some hub data

    Flamme Rouge Sonic Alloy
    Front: 76g 82g
    Rear: 215g 224g

And the spokes are different Sapim CX-RAY on the 4 and 6, versus Sapim Sprint for the 5
