Need a tire for gravel and pavement.

Doing a gravel ride that has a lot of paved sections. I have 700 x 32 Kenda Kwickers on my bike but suspect they’ll be slow on the pavement and not ideal on the gravel. Any thoughts? The ride’s about 55 miles and 3500 ft elevation.

Depends how much gravel you have. I personally like riding 28-32 slick tires for the fast road riding. Panaracer Gravel King slick in 28 or 32 would be my tire of choice. Nowadays lots of very good tires now come in 28-30 mm. If you have more gravel than road you have already a good tire on it. I used to have it on my cyclocross bike and it was OK, but would wear really quickly
