Hi, I just got one of these rear hubs, I'm wanting to see the internals but the caps are screwed on pretty tight, what's the direction to loosen them?

Hmmm, I never had a problem with the caps.
The threads are treated with some sort of loctite though, it does require a little force.
Anyway, just to make sure I wasn't giving you the wrong instructions, I opened one of mine

You need two 5 mm allen wrenches; one in each axle end. They're on pretty tight and have a threadlock compound (blue) on them. Just got a set of hubs the other day and am waiting for my ZTR rims & spokes so I can build them up. Took the freehub off to verify that it had enough grease (yup). Rear bearings appear a bit tighter than the front, but I'm assuming the seals will wear and it will free up.
