releasing pump hose from tire noise

When I release there is loud "explosion." Anyway to reduce this? Grease valve?
It doesn't happen with all tubes. Is this good or bad/ inevitable thing?

Explosion or rush of air out of the pump hose? The air in the pump hose is pressurized to the same psi that you are filling your tire with, so you are going to get a rush of air when you disconnect the hose regardless. Not sure what you mean by explosion, but that to me usually indicates you haven't properly seated the tire and the tube has gotten itself caught inbetween the tire and the rim and has burst.

It's air from the hose, not air from the tube.

    ie: It's a non-issue.

What he said. And if your pump has a built-in guage, there's often a reservoir to stabilize the pressure (so the guage reads more accurately), so the air release is pretty large.

I assuming you're using Presta valves, and if so there's nothing to worry about -- all that air is coming from the pump and not the tire.
