    Specialized Turbo Tubeless

Anyone else tried these out? I put them on my SL2 a couple of days ago, and am absolutely blown away by the comfort and smoothness of these tires. I also felt very comfortable with them on fast twisty descents. I am REALLY impressed! Any other opinions out there?

While he hasn't mentioned the tubeless, Padraig at redkiteprayer.com has nothing but good words for (several models of) Specialized tires...
    e.g. http://redkiteprayer.com/?p=1673

What did you have on your bike before? Another tubeless (e.g. Hutchison), or a tire/tube combo?

Tube/Tire. Mondo Pro, All Condition Pro, or All Condition Armadillo Elite, depending on the time of year.

Have you tried any of the other Road Tubeless tires? Any comparison?

These tires are not known for their great ride. You need to comare your new tires with a comparable (not tubeless) tire from Continental, Vittoria, Schwalbe, Michelin, etc.

Nope. They have the same bead and, I believe, casing as the Hutchinson Fusion tubeless. I have heard that the Specialized tires have a longer tread life. The handling is great, though.

That is true. I have spent quite a bit of time on ProRace 2 tires and Conti GP4000's, though it's been a good six months since I got rid of the Conti's. I've also ridden the Schwalbe Stelvio and Durano tires, though they were on demo bikes, not my own ride.

Hutchinson does make them for specialized, made a few changes from the Fusion tubeless, besides longer tread life not sure what those changes are?

Can't believe the milage I've gotten out of these and the ride is very smooth at 80ish psi. Finally had a flat that my tubeless brew wouldn't seal from a big chard of glass. So I swapped tires out to clincher Mich PRO Race 3's since my shop was out of stock of the Specialized Turbo tubeless, now I'm spoiled and gotta go back, the ride is just that good.
